The euro has gained today against the USD, but the performance has been feeble. The sovereign debt woes have been a euro problem ever since the Greek problems emerged months ago. This week two of the PIIGS are raising money. Ireland, tomorrow, is trying to peddle up to €1.5B of 3 and 8 year paper. Latest market was about 5.% for the 3 year and 6.25% for the 8 year paper. On Wednesday Portugal is auctioning up to €1.0B of paper.

There seems to be a lot of happy talk from the EuroZone, the debt crises is abating and the euro will survive. Could Deutsche Bank who is trying to raise €10.2B this week in new equity, be behind the talk? If euro problems had truly abated, would the euro not be trading better versus the USD?

Technically the MACD has given us two crossovers in the last six day, but trade in the pair lacks to vigor to assault the 1.32 resistance. If this pair makes a belated charge at the 1.32 handle we are going to try the short side at around that level. Sure, there is a chance of poor US numbers later in the week, but the equities market may be telling us there is also some good news coming.

EURUSD
Buy around 1.3035, Stop 1.2995
1st Target @ 1.3115
2nd Target @ 1.3155

Sell around 1.3190
1st Target @ 1.3050
2nd Target @ 1.3010

GBPUSD
Pound succumbed to worse than expected mortgage and housing data this Monday, falling to 1.5540 area, where the pair has been consolidating since late American session. Despite hourly indicators look exhausted to the downside, price is unable to move higher, while 20 SMA bearish slope support the bearish bias. If the price can pass 20 SMA, it might be to retest 1.5730.
Buy or Sell, trade with cautious.

USDJPY
Still waiting the price to go down to add another Long.

Untuk AU, orang di luaran sana prediksinya spt dibawah ini bro, Gwa jarang2 trade di AU. Kecuali harga sangat rendah atau harga Tinggi. Biasanya main HOLD jangka Medium. Untuk intraday,gwa merasa kesulitan. Gwa sendiri cari titik tertinggi Untuk entry SELL. Jika bisa Up ke 0.97xx – 0.98xx gwa akan Hold Sell, TP 500pips tanpa SL.

Consider buy set ups at: 0.9432-41

Consider sell set ups at: 0.9535-45 or 0.9430

AUDUSD
Waiting to see if FED decides, or not, to extend QE.

Australian dollar however, could see some volatility as the currency remains strong; despite indicators are heading lower in this 4 hours chart, movements should be consider corrective till around 0.9405, where 20 SMA should act as dynamic support. Lose of this last will open door for further loses, targeting the around 0.9360 zone. Above intraday high 0.9493, immediate target for the cross comes at 0.9520 strong static resistance area, followed later by 0.9550 price zone.

Buy around 0.9405 – 0.9365
Target 50 – 100 pips ( around 0.9450 – 0.9500)

If the market moving up above 0.9500
Remove the buy limit & Sell around 09510 – 0.9550
T1 @ 0.9400
T2 @ 0.9350

All eyes turn to the US Federal Reserve interest rate decision due tomorrow.

GBPUSD
I would look to short this pair around 1.5610 – 1.5650 range with a SL around 1.5700. It’s a bit of a risk to hold into the FOMC with rumors of QE2, but I actually think the event risk is tilted towards USD strength as I’ll mention in the FOMC breakdown below.

salam semua, master2 forex malam nie eu bisa turun tak? moga2 bisa turun. pening nih.

malam ini, target sell EU 1.3150, jika naik lagi sell di 1.3190. Entry selepas USD news muncul. TP 100 – 150 pips, simpan selama 2 hari. Pada 1.3000 better buy kerana Eu dilihat bias utk menuju 1.3330 (max high Aug 24, 2010)

GU saat ini better to buy 1.5120 TP sekitar 40 pips, jika USD nws positif, tp lebih banyak lagi.

Jelang FOMC Statement jam 01.15 wib semua pair bolak-balik gak jelas. Tapi sejauh ini 1,5500 jadi support GU lumayan kuat. Dan 1,3140 jadi resistance EU lumayan kuat.

saya OP Buy EU 1.3140 dan TP 1.3192, apakah bakal kesampaian master sampai malam ini…?
